The Thirsty Peacock project hero04
Overview

The Thirsty Peacock is a wine bar and lounge with a bold, social personality — a place that had to pop after dark and pull people in off the street.

Look closely and the bird reveals itself: a peacock’s fanned tail built entirely from wine bottles, with a single glass standing in for its proud, upright body. Show-off plumage, made of the menu.

01

The challenge

A wine bar competes with a glowing window full of bottles and a buzzing room. The mark had to be unmistakable on an illuminated sign at night, sophisticated rather than gimmicky, and instantly say ‘wine’ without a single cliché grape or cursive flourish.

02

The approach

I let the wine become the bird. Jewel-toned bottles fan out like a peacock’s tail while a lone glass forms the body — indulgence and showmanship in one confident silhouette. Built for neon and blade signage first, the purple-and-teal palette carries the strut from storefront to van and menu.

03 / The result

Designed to work
beyond the reveal.

A vivid hospitality identity engineered for the night: immediately recognizable on the street and flexible enough to animate menus, vehicles, and every social touchpoint.
